Strawberry Basil Relish
So basil is probably one of my favorite things. Like, ever. The fragrance alone makes me smile! I try to use it when and wherever I can, and with strawberries, it’s even better! There was a season where I couldn’t have it; I’d taken a food sensitivities test and it turns out basil was a “red” for me. When I saw that on my report I was SO disappointed. Thankfully, a gut-healing protocol and an elimination diet helped me get things back in check and TAAAA-DAAAA…I’m eating basil again!
Good thing too, because it happens to be amazing for you. This fragrant herb has a lot to brag about:

PLUS, the taste is ridiculous :)
Adding it to this relish gives a little cool kick to some summer sweetness. We paired it with baked Cod and even topped off some almond ricotta on a toasted cassava cracker! Delicious!
