Well, I finally got an air fryer. And you know these had to be the first thing I had to try were these creamy on the inside, crisp on the outside, little slices of Heaven! The best part…it isn’t rocket science!
And, you can make these with or without the air fryer. But after this experience I can tell you, the crust somehow turns out so much better in the air fryer! If you do opt for the conventional oven, keep it at 400 degrees but add just a couple of minutes to your cook time.
•1 large, semi-firm avocado
•2 tbsp coconut flour
•2 tbsp nutritional yeast
•1 tsp sea salt
•2 tsp garlic powder
•2 tsp onion powder
•1/3 cup coconut milk (canned)
Combine all of the seasonings, flour and nutritional yeast.
Separate the seasoning mixture onto two plates.
Pour the coconut milk into a bowl.
Lightly coat the avocado slices in seasoning on one plate, then quickly dip the slice in the coconut milk (you can also pour the milk onto a plate and dredge the slices in the milk). Finally dredge the avocado in the seasoning on the second plate.
Repeat for all slices.
Place them on a rack in the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with dairy free ranch dip (below) or your favorite dip!

•1 can coconut cream
•1/2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
•1/2 tbsp dried chives
•2 tsp dried Parsley
•2 tsp fresh dill
•1 tsp garlic powder
•1 tsp onion powder
•1/2 tsp sea salt
Combine all ingredients in a mason jar and shake vigorously until well combined.
Add extra seasoning as needed. For extra “zing” add 1/4 tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar at a time until preference is reached.
