B.A.R. Sliders (Bacon Avocado Ranch)

These little sliders were perfect for our New Years Eve at home! I love party type finger-foods just as much as anyone, and I love finding better-for-you options even more. My challenge here was to make a slider that my guys would love, but that I could keep grain, gluten and dairy free. Mission accomplished!

Use a sweet potato “bun” as the base, then layer lettuce, beef patty, avocado and bacon. Drizzle with the ranch dressing.

•1.5 lbs ground beef
•1.5 tsp sea salt
•2 tsp garlic powder
•2 tsp onion powder
•1 tsp dried parsley

  1. Combine all ingredients and form into mini “slider” patties.

  2. Either grill until done through, or oven bake at 400 degrees until done (about 20 minutes).

•1 medium sweet potato
•1 tbsp coconut or avocado oil
•1/2 tsp sea salt
•dash of garlic powder

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Slice potato into 1/4” think slices.

  3. Toss with the oil and seasonings.

  4. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through the time.

•1 avocado
•1/4 tsp sea salt
•dash of garlic powder

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and use a fork to smash.

•1/2 cup coconut milk
•1 can coconut cream
•1/2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
•1/2 tbsp dried chives
•2 tsp dried Parsley
•2 tsp fresh dill
•1 tsp garlic powder
•1 tsp onion powder
•1/2 tsp sea salt

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mason jar and shake vigorously until well combined.

  2. Add extra seasoning as needed. For extra “zing” add 1/4 tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar at a time until preference is reached.
