I used to be obsessed with cherry limeades from a certain burger joint that’s all across the south. Alas...they were full of sugar and who knows what else, so I had to make my own! I love that you can turn the sweet up or down on this and have a crisp, refreshing drink!
•1 liter Topo Chico
•Juice of two large limes
•1 cup fresh cherries, pitted
•2-4 tbsp raw honey, to preferred sweetness
- Combine cherries, lime juice and honey in a blender and process until cherries are “juiced”.
- Pour through a fine-mesh strainer into a glass pitcher to remove any bits of cherry.
- Slowly pour in the Topo Chico. I find that tilting the pitcher sideways while pouring in the Topo Chico helps it to not “foam”; if it does, just scoop the foam off with a spoon.
- Pour over ice and garnish with fresh cherries and lime!
