Honey-Cinnamon Golden Milk

I love it when something creamy, comforting and delicious also happens to be good for you! This sweet and spicy cup is full of things that benefit the body:

  • Coconut is known for it's impact to the gut microbiome

  • Turmeric is both anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial

  • Honey is rich in antioxidants

  • Cinnamon has been shown to positively impact blood sugar

Honey-Cinnamon Golden Milk

  • 1 can full fat coconut milk
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp raw honey
  • Topping: 1 tbsp coconut cream whipped with 1 tsp raw honey


  1. Warm the milk in a small pot over medium heat. Add the turmeric, cinnamon and 1/2 tbsp raw honey, and continue warming until desired temperature is reached.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the topping ingredients and stir well.
  3. Pour the golden milk into a mug through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any Turmeric pieces.
  4. Top with a dollop of the coconut cream topping.
